ChooParticipantSuch as recording a stream song, without using a mic so it retains the original quality. Thanks, I’m trying to record a beat that isn’t avaliable to download.

2skidoosParticipanton windows, in recording properties, you select ‘stereo mix’ to record any sound the computer makes.

SeanzaParticipant[quote quote="Muller83":2gxt01kz]I use a free program called OP2D, which you can find here
http://www.opcode.co.uk/opd2d/default.asp
You just press record, and it records whatever is playing on the computer at the time. You can choose MP3 or .wav formats. Great for recording streaming audio radio shows or mixes etc.[/quote:2gxt01kz]

yazza187Participantmost remixing programs have a record in them eg acid 5 just record start record play what you want to record then stop record and it wil come up in acid 5 (if you used that) because it just records whatever the compter is playing it wil record realy quite but that can be changed in a wave editor.

agentmParticipantIf you’ve got an external sound card you can also do this. I use an edirol audio interface with a loop back feature. It records in 24-bit 44.1khz (cd quality) with no problems. All you have to do is flick a switch!
