I have a question…

Is it a good idea to remix / mash / blend, and then put it out there under your indie label’s name?

If your doing it like that, wouldn’t it be a good idea to get clearence? Holler back

No, no…I think you misunderstood me. That’s a question that I’ve been meaning to ask, because I have several mixtapes ready to be released. However, I want to brand them by putting my production company on the label.

If you ever went as far as starting an Indie Label strictly for remixing and mashups, wouldn’t it be a good idea to get clearence for the samples you’ve used?
