vice versesParticipantim hoping that some of the helpful and techie aware peeps on here may be able to help me out with this one…..
i have an ipod, and really want to know if there is a software alternative as a way of just copying and pasting tracks from my pc onto the ipod, without the farce of having to go thru itunes,
it seems that unless an mp3 has all the id3 tags that it wont show up on my ipod?…. ideally i would just like to be able to have the tracks apear as they do on my computer,
ive searched far and wide on the internet and dont seem to be able to find a clear answer!!!
help me someone please, as filling a 40gb ipod thru itunes is like pulling teeth.
many thanks in anticipation of the answer ive been hoping for!!!!

ordioParticipantThe only other method I know is using Winamp. I ditched itunes and started using Winamp 5 and the ipod plugin from http://www.mlipod.com
The good thing about this is you can drag and drop anything to the ipod and you can transfer music back from your pod which you can’t with itunes.
hope this helps

vice versesParticipantcheers everyone, much apreciated, ill take a look into these packages,….
i know a lot of people like itunes, i personally dont get on with it, and im always worried that i click the wrong button im gonna delete my music collection.
a lot of the mp3s i have are unreleased or remixes, so itunes doesnt recognise a lot of these, making it a right pain in the arse to use, thanks again all…
