Have you guys heard the song "Hide and Seek" off of Imogen Heap’s recent album? I think this song is an absolute masterpiece …and speaking of acapella!! And the use of Autotune on her rich harmonies is masterful. I think it would be super cool to lay down a kickin dance track underneath….also a great candidate for a mashup…(if it hasnt already been done…wouldnt be surprised).

Actually, I think it maybe a vocoder on this one. Most of the new stuff is done with Autotune but the way the harmonies move, it sounds more like a keyboard controlling them. I actually started working on it about 4 months ago…and put it down to get some of my work done first, lol. But Im itchin to finish it..

Good thread – Love her voice.. didn’t/hasn’t BT used her for some of his fem.vox work on some of his tracks – her voice is just SO distinctive.

On another note (pardon the pun) for any of you who didn’t see my thread a little while ago I definetly recommend buying in U-Myx format.

Get up close and personal with Imogen and all of her parts – ooh err missus.

It’s good stuff 9/10!

well, I still owe this site a tutorial (thats ninety percent finished) and IM working on a collaboration with two other artists, going to school and working full time….Ill get to it…

HELL YES!!! Absolutely awesome!! Thank you for sharing that…Im gonna get that on my ipod. How hard was it to sync up her lyrics?? She doesnt sing in time with anything that I could tell. I started working on it and had to split up every single phrase…then school started back, lol.

I cannot complement your work enough. Great Job!!

And Im diggin the "ATB" keys in the background.
