I have tried the inverting or flipping method on Audacity but it wont even work a a little for me
Im using the official instr. of the song and they are the same length, beats etc… What am I doing wrong, every song I’ve tried will not work.. ![]()

I’ve had that problem too, and that means either one of two things…
1.) sometimes the instrumental is mastered a different way. so the peaks are offset.
2.) the peaks are too fine for the software to pick up, (your sound quality is either too good or too bad to invert) (in audacity, i get this problem alot.
if it’s number one, not much i can tell yah, number two, try using adobe audition. there is a trial version. it’s much better on picking up the sound differences than audacity (not saying audacity is’t good, just saying adobe audition is better)
if that fails, and you still have the instumental you could layer the tracks into logic pro (i think they have a trial (mac bases) and pull the noice / compressor, to match the instrumental peaks, that way the vocals, would be left.
i can’t think of anything else, hope that helps a little. :/
