tones? As in how to write a track in the same key? Either you need to know the key of the original track, or figure it out by ear.
is there any tips you can give to detect it by ear? cause i can but takes pretty long to do it perfectly

Personaly, i would think that to know what acapella you wanted to work with you would have, at some point, heard the original track. I do everythnig by ear and it’s not allways perfect, but sometimes it’s the imperfections that make it stand out more, and in a good way.
Play back the acapella, and search for the root note on a piano if you can’t automatically detect it by ear. That’s just about the best you’d be able to do unless you somehow attain some magic powers. And, if by any chance, you gain said magical powers… tell me how you got them! hehe.
