alternatively, use software like mixed in keys to find bpm of both. find the downbeats of both, then sync them according to downbeats.
October 8, 2016 at 12:28 am #705519@andres.wu, I am pretty new to the scene also, I only have ableton, just watching NIGHTMRE on youtube, and he said i can google it if its an acapella of a track by someone like Britney Spears, Beyonce etc. Any idea how accurate that would be for artists like Nero etc? I only use one program atm, still trying to learn that one… 1st post btw, sorry for gravedigging XD
November 3, 2016 at 7:13 am #705543Yo @D3r3k-X Mixed in Key is just an analysis program, nothing to learn, just pop your tracks into it and it gives you the key and bpm. Another one is Mixmeister BPM Analyzer. Doesn’t give you the key (although there are other ways to find that out manually), but it’ll get you the BPM and it’s free.
Either way, nothing that you really have to learn there.
Once you’ve got the BPM, it’s mostly just an issue of finding the downbeat and syncing it up from there.
