HOUSE REMIX COMPETITION (sponsored by Ableton) in Progress..

I think their should be five samples again, but the vocal should be a full accapella!

I think that some of the rules from the original house remix competition should stay in place for this competition.
1) It would be nice to have a 3 round competion, as Tim.g mentioned,
some ppl may not shine through on certain things ie samples or a
particular pella. Also there are a large number of members that do
have full time jobs, I’m not sure about the other full timers, but I find
that working full time, it’s a bit of a tight squeeze to meet a dead line,
when you don’t have all the hours in a day to spend on your remix.

2) Alot of people do produce better work when under a wee bit of pressure
in order to create some pressure why not keep the rule, “If
you don’t meat the deadline, you don’t go through to the next round.”

3) No samples/loops to be used from other tracks eg It HAS to be your
creation/production

Also can we please stick to a house pella I don’t think I like the idea of a pella that leans towards the sound that it could be a hiphop or rap pella. Please please no hiphop sounding pellas.
If I upset anybody posting this, I do apologise, it’s not my intention to do so, these are just some of my thoughts on the competion.

My, my just look at that list of names. Goodness me the pressure is on now. Since the last attempt of this competion, I haven’t made one track. So guys I haven’t improved so no worries bout me winning .

actually I will have to pass this time. I am on the road a lot for work and even though I can get acess to the internet I do not have my music making puter with me so it is difficult to work on music. But I am looking foward to seeing what everone comes up with.
