The street forum wasn’t created at the time a posted this, and the reason a created it was out of curiosity. Just like people have been asking all time favourite songs, films, etc…

It was for a list, but now, tbh it seems like too much hassle lol.

Please move this to the street section, as it would be more fitting in there, but like a said, the street section wasn’t there when a posted it (back in June).

Ok, here’s my run at it:

Lyrical:

1) 2Pac
2) Eminem
3) Canibus (how wasn’t he mentioned even once??)

Production:

1) Dr. Dre (the legend of production, hands down)
2) Timbaland (him and Scott Storch own the game right now)
3) Kanye West (is there anyone out there that hasn’t bitten his beat-making style??)

Overall:

1) 2Pac (blows my mind that ANYONE would but Biggie over him)

3) Jay-Z (biggest shaper of hip-hop ever aside from #’s 1 and 2 there)

2 Pac wouldn’t feature in my top 5 as i think he is way too overrated and that artists today, especially Eminem would destroy him lyrically.

Britney Spears???? wow you haven’t hear Eminem for a long time have you, thats old stuff man.

I’m glad he is different to the usual, gun toting, gangster killing, making money & ridin’ on dubs bull**** lyrics that rap is associated with.

Gimmicks….possibly, although he has some deep songs like sing for the moment, you cant doubt his rhyming skills.
