parizstarParticipantYou can say, I am a lucky person! I was born in Vietnam and I came to the United States when I was two years old. Just recently, I have discovered that I was a part of history. I was an "Operation Baby Lift" Baby which consisted of infant survivors coming to America to begin a new life. After a few years, my father found me from an adopted family and raised me. He was a business man and I watched him work through many business entities. He owned several different businesses: a tailor shop, travel agency, restauranteur, and printing shop. In every business he owned, I was the little kid helping him, not knowing that it would benefit my future to be a professional promoter/dj.
I decided after high school, I wanted to give back to the best country we live in. I joined the U.S. Army and finished my active duty with an Honorable Discharge. Right after the Military, I went straight to work. I got a job working for Miller Brands Brewing Company as a sales representative selling beer in the territory of Los Angeles. I quickly learned the business of selling and there was one valuable lesson: no matter what product you may have, it’s about discovering your customers need at the moment and to fulfill them. After working for Miller Brands, I went ahead and decided to challenge myself. I received an opportunity to work for Wine Warehouse and obtained the secrets of the Wine Business.
With the sales & people skills I acquired working with two high profile companies. I wanted to set a higher goal for myself. I started my own business of producing events. Within four years of producing events and working for Non-profit organizations like Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric Aids Foundation, and the Israeli Independence Festival. My company profile had become corporate. Another example was the opportunity to work for America’s largest media company, Clear Channel. In addition, Hollywood was acknowledging my work and I was producing events for Hollywood Producers. I was listed in the March issue – City Beat Newspaper as the "Mover and Shaker of Los Angeles" of 2004. This business enabled me to meet the right people.
My incredible journey to the profession of doing events and playing music. The rest is history…
I have been very lucky to work with some of the greatest artist of all times. DJ Tiesto, Armin Van Burren, Satoshi Tomiie, blank&jones, dj tomcraft, kaskade, mark farina, derrick carter, astral projection, infected mushroom, judge jules, miss honey dijon, lisa lashes, ferry corsten, and that’s just a little sample.
I have four residencies I hold in Los Angeles.
Eleven (West Hollywood)
Standard Hotel (Hollywood)
Villa Sorriso (Old Town Pasadena)
CJ’s (Torrance)and pretty soon Vegas! I look forward to be part of this community!
