hiphopfanParticipantI’m not really a big fan of Dangermouse’s production but the beat he did for "Social Distortion" by Prince Po (featuring MF DOOM) is pretty nice.

biggtymeParticipanti think this was a good hookup for danger mouse and ce-lo cause both of these cats are always thinking outside the box for thier productions

V.V.[/quote:xg6i0eno]From my understanding, Gnarls Barkley is actually some poet who supposedly inspired both Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo. At least, that’s what I got from the interview with Cee-Lo. The interview wasn’t very clear.
Anyway, I heard that “Crazy” song and thought that it was a lot like Andre 3000’s “Hey Ya.” I had mixed feelings about the song—almost like the song you love to hate. It’s cool, I guess. At least its different.

Surface1ParticipantDangermouse is the bomb

Crazy I think is a really good song, dunno why but reminds me of an updated Mark Morrision.

[/quote:3f2lzwwz]Pur Girl,
Gnarls Barkley being a play-on-words from the name “Charles Barkley” is obvious. What I was saying is that I think there really is a poet named “Gnarls Barkley” who influenced both Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo Green. If I’m not mistaking, read this on allhiphop.com.
