acapellaKeymasterIf like me you got some supplies in and pretty-much stayed glued to all the Glastonbury Festival coverage on tv, by now you’re either glad it’s over as you’ve got square eyes or you can actually feel totally glasto’d out (in a good way) and you’re already looking forward to next years’
What were your favourite bits? Who rocked? Who dropped? Who surprised you? Whose album are you gonna be out buying after seeing them on Glasto for the first time?
Even though I’m not an avid Arctic Spunkeys fan, I really enjoyed the tightness of all their tracks and even enjoyed their Bassey rendition of ‘Diamonds….’
Killers’ set just didn’t have the ‘sparkle’ that drew me too them 2 years ago AFTER watching them on Glasto this time 2 years ago.. shame.
CSS & The ‘Start wearing purple’ Gypsy lot really shocked me – wicked stuff.
I think I’ll actually go out and buy ‘The Editor’s’ album – good stuff!!

anisinaParticipantThe Chemical Brothers where great, as usual. I loved the Cowbell Solo in the Kaiser Chiefs set. I also liked the Shirley Bassey set, and some of her fans dressed up like they had was excellent. The Killers where very good also, even though the sound was apparently terrible FOH, though sounded allright through the TV.

I’ve forgotten the others.

tomchaddParticipantI saw Gogol Bordello in a tent at the Sziget festival in Budapest and I’ve never been in such a mental crowd! They were brilliant.
Glasto highlights for me were Super Furries, CSS, Gogol Bordello, Arcade Fire, Bjork, Mark Ronson and Chamical Brothers. Dunno if it was on tele but Mark Ronson’s DJ set was amazing. His live band was great as well
