Flo Rida – Low (Lwdwn bkn tweeter)

Definitely like this mix. It really adds the punchiness to the track that I feel was missing in the original and the few dance mixes I’ve heard.

The only thing that bothered me was the muddiness on the low and middle ranges. I loaded the track up into FL Studio and ran it through the multiband compressor, and with a little tweaking , it came out much crisper. I also messed around a little bit with a parametric EQ, but that didn’t make as much of a difference as the compression did. Maybe give that a shot to add a professional-sounding sheen to it and I’d totally blast this track in my car.

Overall, a solid piece of work. I’m listening to the original now and it’s putting me to sleep… And to think I liked it 10 minutes ago!

I like where you are going with this but does need cleaned up sounds very harsh possible compression to help as already advised.
