Just a question open to the floor.

We like to think that we are offering as much as possible and in the best way for everyone. But we do like to hear back from you guys if there’s anything obvious that we don’t have here already that you think would be cool for us to look into for the future.

1st time I’ve seen this one mate! 1 that comes to mind is the Flash mod(ification) as discussed.

Allows you to inbed Flash videos and other Flash things. 1 example being the MySpace video player.

There have been a few suggestions by other members (clearly haven’t seen this post). One that springs to mind is someone suggesting a BPM thingamy with the acapellas (although it’s been discussed before).

all part and parcle of keeping over 40 thousand members happy. everything that’s developed on this site has been from what the users do and what would be better so as to make sure you guys are happy and our resources are…..happy too.

File commenting has been an integral feature of the site for a long time. Perhaps we should make it more obvious within the page?

Maybe something besides youtube that we can embeed like myspace video or esnips widgets (if that is possible at all lol -> not much of a web person).

Not so much a feature as an idea…

Inspired by DeeJay_Mc7’s summer love thread over in the DIY section. What if you were to hold DIY competitions? Start with say 5 songs, run a poll to see which one gets done and then put the challenge to the members to see who can do the best DIY. Then put up samples and get everyone to vote.

Benefits abound with this one.
– We get more, quality, DIY tunes on the database
– Members skill levels at DIY increase
– Whoever wins gets some free downloads or maybe a trip to Hawaii

I don’t know how it would be done but it’d be a pretty cool idea I think

Maybe a collection of all the Instrmentals to the accapellas in the library,

so that you can mix it all over??

…that would contravene with the no requests policy.

People are encouraged to "up" whatever they have whenever they can so the database gets larger. It’s likely people will ask for stuff that’s already in the database but they can’t be bothered to search for it.

That’s just my opinion/way i would envisage it though

Absolutely fantastic suggestion 22A!

Hawaii though ? Dunno about that, I was thinking more like Skegness.

I’ve made a note of this suggestion and ‘penciled it in’ as a forthcoming comp. idea.

when did i mention anything about bpms??? i said there was a thread already existing about it…

the reason why i’m keeping shtum about it is because i’m [size size=59:bdpnojvn]going on a php course/module thing this coming year and will be able to help the site quite a bit, dunno if it’s up to that of _bi0 but i guess it’s better than nothing?[/size:bdpnojvn]
