coojuiceParticipantThis has more of an oldskool feel about it to me. Nice track.
House & Electro House?
In my opinion, Electro House is simply a term used for the current sound of House Music. "Electro House" tracks have a very deep, dirty sounding electronic bass line.

and please explain me the difference between
House & Electro House
[/quote:1froyfoa]As I understand the term ‘house music’. It was born in the US and was music that was played in warehouse raves in the early 90’s. (I think?)
Nowadays ‘house’ just seems to be a blanket for anything between 125 and 135bpm with a 4/4 beat.
Electro, funky, soulful, tech, deep, acid, chicago, tribal etc. etc. are sub genre’s.
I have no idea how to define all the sub genre’s, all I know is i like it
Liked your tunes on the myspace btw

djspyderb4everParticipantBy Definition:
House music is a style of electronic dance music that was developed by dance club DJs in the Midwestern United States city of Chicago in the early to mid-1980s. House music is strongly influenced by some elements of the late 1970s soul- and funk-infused dance music style of disco. House music takes disco’s use of a prominent bass drum on every beat and developed a new style by mixing in a heavy electronic synthesizer bassline, electronic drums, electronic effects, funk and pop samples, and reverb (or delay)-enhanced vocals.I agree with Chunkycoldmedina, today it is basically any upbeat, high enrgy, dance music that isn’t disco, techno or drum-n-base.

Make only the Bass the Difference?simply said: Take a Old Track, Play a New "dirty sounding electronic" Bass
and you have Electro-House ?LeWelsch

OsymandiazParticipantYo Buddy!
Firstly I wanna say, your track is, in my opinion, a commercial funk type track. Good structure[quote quote="lewelsch":h9a3qjre]and please explain me the difference between
House & Electro House[/quote:h9a3qjre]
Secondly… I agree with Chunkycoldmedina. The first thing you have to understand, is that House is the main genre and electro, minimal, funk etc are sub-genres. Now, a better way to explain electro, is to speak of distortion. Electro is electronic sounds that are distorted to a certain extent. If you wish, listen to my track. It’s electro and it will help you understand better.
Here’s the link to my track: [url:h9a3qjre]http://www.acapellas4u.co.uk/topic45754.html[/url:h9a3qjre]
The concept of "electro" is basically entirely focused on the bassline.Hope you like it.
