djgilliganParticipantHello all,
I am wondering if anybody here can give me some pointers…I LOVE DRUM AND BASS, but im running out of artists to search for. My favourites so far are:Chase and Status
Noisia
PendulumAnd that seems about it…I cant remember anymore, this is my problem.
I’ve heard of dillinja, and andy c, and dj hype, but can anyone steer me towards tunes/artists that i need to check out? Also, where do i go to discover new DnB tunes? I know about hype machine, but that seems mainly electro, acoustic and wonky pop. Is there a drum and bass equivalent?
Thanks

daffdkParticipantIf you live in USA try http://www.pandora.com. Type your favorite and it should play a radio with similar artists.
You can try http://www.last.fm too. It does the same, and works outside usa too. You just have to sign up, and install their plugin. A guide should be written on their page =)
Hope it helped?

djgilliganParticipantNice one guys.
Eveson, thank you. I have just downloaded a load of DnB via google music hack, and there is a tune by Teebee and Calyx called warrior…wow!
I think I know what you mean by sub-genres.AdSense 336x280June 10, 2009 at 9:21 pm #668645
evesonParticipantyeah, teebee and calyx are aweosme their back catalogue stretches back years, i love their early works more so than the new bits, teebee’s ‘black science labs’ is deeeeeep…
although i’d urge you to once you’ve found the artists you’re really into, to support them by buying future releases legitimately!
