The CutterParticipantI need to find a way to download YouTube videos. I have seen programs that let me do it but they are saved as FLV files. I do not want this because you need a FLV video player or then you need to convert them form FLV format. I want to skip all that business and download directly to my pc so I can do some editing in Vegas Video, Adobe Premiere etc etc.
Anybody know how to do this the simple way.
Thanks loads,
Mr. C.

BuBaParticipantNo probs man!

BuBaParticipantTo put them on DVD is rather general question
You can just burn them with ur favorite software. If you ment what software would allow you to make a fully functional DVD with clips lol well answer is:
You have Ulead, you have Pinnacle and similar programs. There`s alot of software for u to put them on a DVD.
Like I said your question is very general now so next time pls be more specific.Cheers

acapellaKeymasterThere is a chunk of code available that will enable us to EMBED Youtube videos in our posts.
Do you think that this would be a cool addition to the site?

Yes it would be a great addition to the site but maybe it should be used in it’s very own video section.

Then find the Tube vid u want
put the link in in Keepvid.com
right click on the link, save as
save as, ex:"video.flv"
dont forget to put the ".flv" at the end
go into Riva encoder
