Does anyone on here produce trap?

I’ve been meaning to get back into production for a bit now and I’ve got some ideas that I want to play around with.

It’d be cool to find someone to BS about the subject a bit.

I’m going to mention that I’m /really/ white so I know I’m going to do absolutely blasphemous things as far as the genre goes. You know, just putting that out there ahead of time.

I clearly didn’t put enough emphasis in there for the joke to get across.

Admittedly, part of what’s drawing me to it right now is how abysmally /simple/ this stuff is at it’s core. That’s not to say that there aren’t producers who aren’t making downright excellent tracks (Mayhem being a personal favorite of mine), but the genre as a whole is kind of terrible. It’s something of a guilty pleasure. Like the pork rinds of electronic music.

I figure if there’s anyone else on here making some that it’d be nice to talk about what other people have found that works and stuff.

I really appreciate the input though.

But the kids just don’t get down to it like they used to.
