This is Beatmania IIDX from the same company that made Dance Dance Revolution. It’s not so much a DJ simulator as it is a TriggerFiner/PadKONTROL/ect simulator + a turntable for a scratch sound every now and then.

It’s fun but very very technical. Without this game there would be no Guitar Hero/Rock Band/DDR/Frequency/ect.

Yup played this once, the scratching seems a bit forced but it’s ok. But still on the place where I tried it out I maybe enjoyed Para Para Paradise (because it’s just downright silly),DDR (which I have at home too anyway) and Guitar Hero a bit more. Althought it might be because I got to play it only once.

You know how as soon as Guitar Hero came out, Rock Band came out right after?

Well, this is sort of like that. DJ Hero is to Guitar Hero as Scratch:TUDJ is to Rock Band.

Except Scratch has more of the performing aspects of it rather than club, as far as cue’s go if you know what I mean.
