acheadKeymasterAlright Nabby,
I’ve had a listen and I found the vocal felt out of time to the daft punk backing. It didn’t really gel together as a whole. I’m not sure if they are the best choice of combination. Keep going, I like the vocal (I have a breaks remix of it) and the daft punk is a classic but it just didn’t work this time.
i look forward to hearing you develop.
Flannel.
p.s. I’m new here as well. I have an early attempt in the rock/pop section using shaggy – it wasn’t me. have a listen and let me know what you think.

acheadKeymasterOh, I mean my tune is in the commercial/pop section. Don’t really know if this is the right place for it but the original vocal is definately pop.
cheers, flannel.

ordioParticipantWith a mash up atleast make sure the acapella is in key with the instrumental and that the timing is right. Somethings just aren’t supposed to be.
I didn’t understand why you had two tracks of “da funk” playing at the beginning, and then it came back in again in the last few seconds at the end. They weren’t even in time.
Keep it up though and maybe do something with a rap acapella where the key of the song is hardly relevant.

Well blow me down, some feedback, at last.
It all kinda goes wrong after 1 minute I think…I still have the ACD file for ACID so I could try and fit some other pella in as the Killers one doesnt work I agree but this was a first bash and its better than any crap Ive produced in Atomix or Virtual DJ which are made to look silly by you guys!
Cheers clio, As I said earlier Im a total newb but all advice taken on board, Ta!
