Chordus Interruptus – The muse never sleeps

I awoke from a dream this morning with an awesome song playing in my head, very spacious and open, simple lyric and infectious melody with a large plate reverb, the primary rhythm, an escalating melody at the bridge and powerful breakout on the chorus…I, me, myself – I didnt come up with this…it invaded my r.e.m. sleep on its own and planted itself there. Actually, I was quite blissfully having an erotic dream – and was interrupted with this song. "Wha…?" Well, last time this happened, about a month ago, I layed back down, swearing I could remember everything and plot it out later. I lost ALL of it. Of course I was on pain killers from my knee surgery and was not wanting to limp across the room for my acoustic. But this time, damnitt, I ran to my car and got my acoustic, there from hanging with Brandon and friends, and sat down and figured it out. Whew! Thanks Mr. (or Mrs or Other) Muse for the chordus interruptus! And Im keepin the acoustic by my pillow from now on!
