[Chart] Freqency guide for all your instruments

Ahh, I love Computer Music magazine, I always look at it while at the book store and buy the ones that interest me the most!

Frequency guides are always abit debatable to me.. if you follow strict guides when starting out, the problem is it can get a little too rigid by pin pointing gospel frequency points. Natural and objective listening is key to a great mix and also builds more listening experience. Visual tools like frequency analysers are good for starting out but again, use casually and to clarify frequency ranges of things like sounds clashing etc..

this is a good place to start out, but as always, it’s about using your ears…
