WillyColeParticipantDoes anyone know of a layout or sequencing program (not sure the right term) where I could have various channels at different tempos?
I just found on the Acid page that there are some sort-of solutions, but none which are acceptable. I don’t want to use Acid for this reason.
Do any programs offer the ability to do this?
Thanks alot,
WillyCole
Ps I’m basically thinking of remixing with the inst at one tempo, and adjusting the acc to fit accordingly. I may want to put some other extras if applicable into the mix.

mike001ParticipantSounds like youve solved it ,but if you just want snippets of the original vocal & not all of it try a beat slicer like PhatmaticPro at http://www.izotope.com works on vocals too.

ravenParticipantMay be time based and tempo based tracks(channels) in Cubase/Nuendo are a solution. You can set each track to time or tempo based. All tempo based tracks change their tempo when project tempo is changed and time based tracks keep the old tempo. But this will only work for midi and sliced parts, I don’t know if for realtime timestretched parts too. And I don’
t know how it will work if you automate the tempo track.AdSense 336x280 -
