rinski2000ParticipantHey how are you all. Heres a track ive been working on when i get a bit of spare time. Havent posted on here for ages so here we go. Its a cut version so it doesnt take up 2 much space cut off the outro.
Ley me know what you think and any advise on how it can be improved.
Enjoy.

rinski2000ParticipantThanks for your feedback mate much appreciated (i think i spelt that wrong). I know it takes a while to get into it but it was a club mix and i just cut the end off to make it abit of a smaller file. Thanks for your comments it is still a work in progress so i’ll update if i improve it.

AndyMacParticipantHi just uploaed a michael jackson remix of my own… and seen yours so thought i’d give it a listen…
duno if you produced the track, sounds like you probally did, and sounds like it could have been fruityloops.
As Rory said, the tracks chord/bass structure doesnt match the pella… sometimes you can get away with this, and accidently give it a new feel but usually it at least has to be in the correct key.. so try getin that sorted

The bass all the way through sounds really really low… and for the style of production this track aims to be, I guess Im more used to a the bass being quite in your face, and up there with the kick…
At around 1:07 the percussion section for me personally… sounds a bit random…. and could maybe benifit from some compression an eq’n…
The arp sequence is quite cool, maybe put a bit of delay on it, and a nice reverb…. the pads/chord stabs on the breakdown are nice also…. nice build up with the snare roll…
When the beat comes back in, I wouldnt have the snare going on every beat… along with the kick, maybe try a ride hat instead… when i hear a snare I usually think its a build up in my head, kinda makes me think somethings coming up… but the whole anti-climax feeling that gives you kinda takes away from the track…..
All in all… as said about alot of tracks here, its got a lot of potential If you get it all in the same key… and sort out some production issues with the track…
Hope the comments were constructive… and would be nice if you could check out my little remix…. its made on reason 3.0 hooked up to acid pro…
