[/Wow, this one took me bloody ages. It is one I have wanted to do for ages, India Arie did some amazing tracks on her first album, this one, I fell in love with.
I must have been through about 75-100 backing tracks no shit, but this had to be perfect.
A few started brilliant, then went flat and vice versa, some were alright, but did in no real justice. Some had potential, but didn’t sound just right. Then, the other day i was listening to some Badly Drawn Boy…… BINGO, what a groove!
Check this badboy out. I restructured the backing track to fit the vocal, but, (almost) left the vocal untouched ‘cos it is just awesome.
A nice ploddy intro, teased with some guitar here and there, then at 1:43 its in with the bass – Shake yer arse time!!!
The ladies on the floor should love this one! (I think it should be played out and would love any feedback from people that have)
I have also buggered about with the vocals and come up with something different, I might do an extended version in a while, but for now, if it aint broke…

ps.. if anybody out there likes this, and is interested (can be arsed) in doing some artwork, it would be greatly appreciated. As you might have guessed dy the lame divshare page ,I’m shite at photoshop and websites and stuff, so i prefer to concentrate on making the music rather than the artwork/video scene, although I think the whole pakage goes well together and some of the videos fucking rock!
