RichiePParticipantI keep getting asked for this but I couldn’t really find any mixes that fit in with my set so decided to give it the makeover. Nothing really revolutionary here, just a 2007 club-friendly mix that should be helpful to DJs
Enjoy and please leave comments!

andycessfordParticipantreally like this version, flows well and defo a nice housey feel to it.
Still gotta love the original but this defo does it proud, top stuff!!AdSense 336x280August 10, 2007 at 5:18 am #630948
yiannisdParticipantyou need a good compression on your bass drum , except the delay you have to use and a reverb to be more deep the sound.better panning to your drum machine and to your effects.very good idea the whole track , except this technicals parts the rest of the track is god 😉
keep working man

otgParticipantRockin’! Build out of the breakdown’s a monster… perhaps instead of repeating ‘higher’ twice, stutter it out to double the length: ‘hi-i–i-i-i-i-i-e-e-e-r-r-r-‘? Just a thought.

Funky MunkyParticipantLoving this 2 mins in
Could we have a version at 192 kps or higher for clubplay?
AdSense 336x280August 10, 2007 at 6:39 pm #631015
Funky MunkyParticipantHoly fuck – what a breakdown!

I’ve always loved this song, though you gave it a good house touch, would hear great in a Club!!!!!! I liked hearing higher twice before a third more prolonged "higher" to enphatize. The beat is really neat. Loved the piano. Voice is very well mixed. Marimbas sound so great. The only sound that makes a bit of noise is the "balloon-like" distorded lead accompaining the piano, though I think you wanted to go down in that part and then up in the next few compasses, which is goodKeep it up.

Funky MunkyParticipantThis is good enough for a commercial release
Im emailing it to some DJ’s here in Dublin as I type
AdSense 336x280August 13, 2007 at 5:18 pm #631339
benj1989Participantjust before the piano part it’s to messy,
and you should really correct the tonality of the sound behind the piano and on some other places, but not everyonr will notice that
but it’s already really nice work 😉AdSense 336x280August 13, 2007 at 6:31 pm #631349
davefjParticipantA nice remix
Parts of the "plinky. plonky" bits in the first break down don’t seem to keep in time and that’s possibly my main gripe with it.Good work
AdSense 336x280August 16, 2007 at 4:45 pm #631611
Funky MunkyParticipantHow about this at CD quality mate?
AdSense 336x280August 19, 2007 at 2:41 pm #631890
jabbampParticipantI love the original. Great feel good track. This does it justice I feel. The notes that play in the bits with the single note keyboard bits (maybe a bad description) don’t sound right in a way. The lower in the lower notes its like you can hear the sample is just slowed down to get the lower note.
Its good though this. Maybe try to end it with the big feel the song brings on? The ending sort of says "Ok, I’ve done that job, sod ya all, I’m off". But then again, its ends good enough for the mixers. Nice remix.

yiannisdParticipantnice move friend but you need to put less delay to your first break beacause you confused it
AdSense 336x280September 24, 2007 at 6:40 pm #634177
