matmoo_kParticipantthe samples i am actually looking for are televangelism rants. you know the kind of thing. old/tanned/greying americans saying stuff like ‘give me all your money and you will be saved’ i’m sure i dont need to go on. but you know the things i mean. i do want full sermons though. got a project that could do with these breaks in them.
scoured the net and ain’t coming up trumps. just thought an ask on the forum may yield better results than i’m having. lol.
let me know if this is a taboo or not. because although it is a r*q**st for a vocal. technically it isn’t a r*q**st for an acapella.

theres any probs with the post
The idea I had, was the National Geographic channel recently showed a program
about some religious type who ‘healed’ people in crowds and also televised the process.
National Geographic also offers a ‘pick of the week’/ ‘replay’ feature.
If you have like a sky or Vbox you may be able to find the program, replay it and
record some of the rants by the guy, I reckon its exactly what your after.I cant check myself as im living in a hotel room till August but you may have some
luck.AdSense 336x280April 4, 2008 at 1:07 am #647142
The CutterParticipantI actually have found televangelist speeches on records at thrift stores. I see them all the time. I have a few good one’s that I’ve collected over the years.

matmoo_kParticipanti do believe i’m a bit dumb. the answer was staring me in the face all this time.
INTERNET RADIO. theres loads of god squaddy stations out there with some right nut-jobs preaching out. (i do apologize if this last bit offends anyone)

ChunkyEatsMyDinnerParticipant[quote quote="Chunkycoldmedina":3at1fx9m]You might find something here too;

I didnt think of it at 1st, so dont feel too dumb….. the only reason I thought of
this example was because the company I used to work for installed the station!Be careful sampling internet stations, the quality is usually very low.
If you can get it from TV the quality will be higher.
Even if difference to listen to sounds similar, by the time the file is ripped/ recorded,
maybe in a compressed format. Think… the file playing on the station is highly
likely to be compressed in Mpeg format, its then streamed, re-encoding at an even
lower bitrate, then you rip it (make sure its in .wav or Aiff).
The state the sample is in already it will likely fall apart if timestretched in the wrong direction.
Then you will probably bounce/ export as MP3 meaning its been encoded 3 times! And no offense to Lat, but Youtube audio is offensively bad.
Do a search for internet streams with higher bit rates in preferably AAC format.
90% of internet radio stream at a maximum of 128kbps rates, anything under this in
MP3 will be of very poor quality.
With an AAC stream you will probably get away with 64kbps.AdSense 336x280 -
