I’ve had a look on here but it’s mainly for Audacity, anyone got a GOOD SF tut?

[quote quote="DJone":s1243cno]Lucky you,
I am a walking, talking Sony SoundForge 8.0D tutorial haha
Well I say 8.0D cuz that’s the latest version out, but I have been working with SF for years and years (Only 23 though lol).
Ask away, who knows, maybe we can turn this thread into a new SF tutorial page.
Take care and happy mixing!
Cheers!

Hi Djone, can you use sound forge for "cutting up" parts of an acapella to use them for creating a new song?
If so, could you maybe give us some info on this?
Cheers, TS
I hear you on that. I’m a SF freak myself, however am having trouble with DIY accas. There used to be a thread in here about it a while back, but it’s since been deleted.
I’ve tried what I could remember from the tutorial. Instrumental + Original track… invert/flip… pan/expand. Nothing works so far, so I’m not sure what I’m missing.
Any thoughts?
