I downloaded a trial version of Sony Acid and it seems ok, buti have noticed that is not one of the more popular programs for production as much as FL, etc.
Does any one have any stories about experience with Acid to see if it is worth my money?

I tried FL because everyone was raving about it, but I couldn’t get the hang of it. Then I tried Acid and took to it easily. I think it depends on the individual or if you have no prior experience with a DAW that could influence your learning curve.
There are many who use it but FL does seem to be most popular. I found Acid simpler and like how loops are automatically keyed and tempoed when you drop them in.
I am using Reaper now and find so much similar to Acid.
Acid is a great loop based sequencer… for what it does it does best. you can also rewire it to other programs like Reason.
