DJcrookedzParticipantI cant figure out how to blend a diy acapella very good cuz i turn the volume down on the acapella so you can’t hear the background of it but the beat gets to loud and you can’t hear the vocals.

ChunkyEatsMyDinnerParticipantOh dear, you ask this like its such an easy task! Unfortunately there is no simple answer for this.
I would suggest spending a couple of hours reading through our DIY and tutotial forums to get
an understanding of the processes.
You can then make a decision about what you need to do. (Clean the existing pella,
re-create the pella etc.)
Come back with any specific questions and mention what software your using and I see a path to success

BIG D OParticipantman that’s the beauty in blending right there; your gonna have to work on it kid! It’s not simple…sometimes you have to perform the daunting task of matching up the DIY acapella’s snare drum with that of the beat that your layering…..lol, i’ve ripped out a few hairs tryin to do that shit….at any rate, hope you are persistent and stick with it….good luck!

[/quote:jw36v9tx]If only some of the more proficient DIY’ers out there were nice enough to impart some of their sonic knowledge on the rest of us then there wouldn’t be too many questions asked on the matter.
But.. (at times) there appears to be some sort of elitist movement within the DIY’ers, almost like the ‘noobs’ would be dangerous if given ‘The Knowledge’ or they would steal ur lovely credits. They dont want the credits, just some knowledge how to work on their own work n not to download someone elses work
How about some tutorials about using certain programs/plugins n other gems to get good DIY acapellas??
I’ve swam thru the forum concerning DIY acapellas n nothing of major use is given away. All that was there I knew about 85% of before n have been greatful for the other tips I’ve picked up
Come on, GrandMaster DIY’ers…. Feed us ‘The Knowledge’!!!!

DJ Bobby VParticipantNo offense to all the DIYers out there but I have no use for 95% of the DIYs out there. You are pretty much stuck with what you got sound quality wise. If the DIYers couldn’t remove it…chances are you can’t. On the other hand…sometimes having the beat in the background helps.

otgParticipantMr EQ and Mr Filter are your friends.
That’s all I feel qualified to say, I don’t create my own acapellas, but I’ve a history of DJing and producing music so I apply that to my mash-up creating / bootlegging. In no way would I represent myself as a Grandmaster of anything
