tripmannParticipantAbsolutely. I have every episode plus the movie. Best cartoon EVER.
Also have a stewie cuddly toy. Check out the episodes called ‘the thin white line/brian does hollywood’, its a two parter and an absolute howl!
Thing is, season 4 is a bit hit and miss. The first 3 seasons are all hilarious. If you get a chance have a look out for the episode mis-named se05e04, the start of the episode is one of the funniset things I’ve ever seen.
You should be able to view it here…(short version)
http://www.funmansion.com/html/Family-Guy-Osama.htmlI think the full version is here (I’m behind a firewall)

FruitBombParticipantThat’s some of the best subversive s**t on tv.If it was on 24/7 I’d be glued to the goggle-box like a stripper to a pole.Has anyone seen C.I.A Dad?Done by the same folks, possibly more bent than family guy,but that’s a tough call I guess…

Its excellent. Theres a two parter called ‘stan of arabia’ that has real political undertones.

AcidLoverParticipantThe best episode has to be on Season 4, Breaking Out Is Hard To Do.
If you haven’t seen that you don’t even know what you’re missing!! The Aha scene has to be seen to be believed!

FruitBombParticipantAhhh…American Dad.This will be why I have’nt been able to track it down…I’ve always missed the beginning. Thanks tripmann.So..d’you reckon it’s better than Family Guy or just in a league of it’s own?I find the paranoid psychosis of the dad to be the perfect parallel to the american political psyche…BLAMBLAM!!FREEZE!You have the right to bleed to death. If you cannot afford the funeral, the debt will be pa$$ed on to whoever we can $ucker into paying,at twice the price..

AdamTraceParticipantFamily Guy Kicks ASS!!!!
Acid Lover: I fell over when i saw that take off of the filmclip! Golden!
American Dad is funny but i feel it lacks some of FG’s charm….
My fave thing of FG is when anyone says "Oh this is almost as terrible as when…" and then proceeds to have a flashback…. At least one per episode….

I hear that!!!
Like when Peter says "That reminds of the time I first took Ecstasy" and he’s getting loved up with Brian and Stuey and he’s gradually slipping off the couch and he’s getting undressed then starts his usual "muwhhhhaaaaaaaaa" moans and groans…
absolute classic

acheadKeymasteralmost every thing in family guy is so sick, wrong, and twisted. i love it. the only F.G. dvd we own is the stewie movie. freaking hilarious. they actually released it as a two part episode during the reg. season. not as funny as the uncut/uncensored version though. i make it a point to watch it every sunday, and then sometimes on cartoon net. too!

DJ Sho-TymeParticipantfamily guy would have to be the funniest cartoon out at this moment. I enjoyed simpsons first, bu then tuned into family guy and never stopped watchin it since.
one of my fave quotes
"for every sprinkle i find…..i will kill you" when Stewie wants a bit cake for his birthday, layin down the rules to Chrisi agree with AdamTrace, the flashbacks are hilarious. like when brian says "thats almost as stupid as the time you locked your car keys OUTSIDE the car" and it switches to a flashback or peter locked in his car with the keys on the ground, tryin aimlessly to get people to help him. he even gets the coathanger out the window to try and get them. classic

aaj2006Participanti dont know, but i’ve always liked the one where he says "this is even more intense than the time i forgot how to sit down…" and it shows a flashback where he’s just standing infront of the couch for a while, then jumps toward it head first and breaks it.
thats when i knew i was hooked.

dedtonyParticipantThe Family Guy is one of those shows I never got into much, but every time I’ve watched it, I laugh my ass off…Although, and I know I’ll make a lot of friends by typing this, I really don’t like the Stewie character…I HATE the voice they gave him and I find his character to be kinda dull (because his character is a bit too predictable to me). Other than Stewie’s failures, it’s a pretty damn funny show…I’m more of a fan of the original foul-toons Ren and Stimpy, Beavis and Butthead, and South Park…I remember back in the day watching Beavis and Butthead and sitting there in shock while laughing like a freakin hyena…I couldn’t BELIVE they were allowed to make those two little bastards say the shit they said…THEN, the media dogged on Mike Judge over it all, called the show and MTV foul, then you watch TV today and those same fake ass hypocrites have gone WAAAAAY beyond the content of Beavis and Butthead for "shock" value…The networks were essentially jealous haters that were mad that MTV thought of the foul concepts first…at least that’s how it seems…So, these being truths, watching Family Guy and newer cartoons trying to be vulgar or shocking really just ain’t the same as it used to be…B&B broke the foul barrier…and that’s what made them funny…Newer "foul" or "shocking" toons just ain’t all that shocking, because that barrier of "foul" and "shocking was broken YEARS ago…I still laugh my ass off watching Family Guy though…but not at all "shocking…"
