DJ_Patron(A-zona)Participanti tried using audacity on my mac, i read your tutorials but the end result of the sound is VERY VERY poor, there is so much DIGITAL NOISE, the a capellaalmost sounds like a robot. I tried using the CANCELATION method, and that works great, the only problem is lining everything up perfectly. So am i doing something wrong with audacity or is that how the sound is intended to come out?
Any help will do

This means, that it will take chop off frequencies that are required through the ‘kbps’ selection, i.e. 160kbps has less quality than 192kbps, and the higher the kbps, the better the quality. It’s similar to taking away 30cm from 100cm of cloth (=70cm), and then trying to make a shirt thats meant to be for the 100cm size.
Hope that helps.

virgomaleParticipantNot a direct mac solution but thought I’d share anyways. If you run Adobe Audition using Virtual PC, you can use the "centre channel extraction" filter to either create an acapella or instrumental. The neat thing about this method is the stereo image of the file remains intact.
