SeanzaParticipantDamn, there is a lot of songs with these words in them. Cam’ron, 50 Cent, Luda. Depends which one you’re talking about.

DJ MEZOParticipantI think that song are Dj Isaac – face down ass up
But the acapella…i’m not sure if is original from Dj Isaac or it’s from another artist

djtopcatParticipantAll remade versions of "face down ass up"
were inspired by 2-Live Crew’s-face down ass up live from 1991 that’s a fact.
The sample you hear around the most used in DJ Isaac,DJ Funk,The Cavalry,Get it Boyz versions I’m not sure sounds like some early Chicago house track 92-94
but the pella loop on this site is either DJ Funk, or DJ Isaac because they’re both pretty much the sameAdSense 336x280September 18, 2007 at 11:23 pm #633887
MrBishiParticipantdj schwede is the most commonly used artist for this track

djtopcatParticipant"dj schwede is the most commonly used artist for this track"
I don’t know who DJ Schwede is but the most commonly used versions are DJ Funk’s and DJ Issaic’s they came out before
this dude around 98/99
the acappella in the database on this site is
confirmed DJ Funk I’m listening to my 12" right now
AdSense 336x280October 2, 2007 at 4:33 pm #634572
MrBishiParticipantto my knowledge, i would say dj schwede, but so many artists use this saying, it wouldnt be hard to find
AdSense 336x280October 2, 2007 at 7:17 pm #634581
djtopcatParticipantDJ Schwede’s version didn’t come out until
2002!!
Does anyone on here actually read the replies on here? I answered your question already! The acapella version you will find on this site and most others is Chicago house legend DJ Funk’s version from 1996 it’s on an ep with no title but was re-released on a compilation ep in 02 then came DJ Issaic in 98 followed by Schwede in 02 Just because you guys recognize Schwede’s version does not mean it’s the most common all though they all pretty much sound the same but it’s DJ Funk who first redid 2Live’s anthem.
that answers your question there should be no debate done deal thank you come again
AdSense 336x280October 19, 2007 at 5:16 pm #635501

AdSense 336x280November 2, 2007 at 5:12 pm #636374

djshadesukParticipantJust to add another to the list of songs that use this sample:
Deja Vu – Face Down Ass Up
This is quite possibly where most people will have heard this if they’ve been out clubbing in the last oooh, 8 years!!
Its the version with the bird singing "Oooh make me cum baby, make me cum baby"
Even with the explicit lyrics this is probably the most ‘Sharon & Tracey’ club/bar friendly version and has been absolutely hammered to death…. and still gets requested!
Oh yes, and before anyone else says it I know Deja Vu is really DJ Isaac its just most ‘town center’ clubbers will probably only know this track as being by Deja Vu.

[/quote:15l48kau]Does anyone read posts around here? djtopcat is right and everyone else just added extra space to this thread. I guess this is more of a production forum and not so much a DJ so I won’t rant, but as djtopcat said, the sample is from 2 Live Crew, the guy who originally made the loop of it that every DJ uses was DJ Funk.
