Just cuz he left the whole label, doesntmean he’s wack!. Game is still going to have appearences by dre NAS MJB and others. I think its cool to have seen game go on his own. The doctor is still going to be producing for him which is tight cuz dre is sick in the studio. Scott Storch is gonna throw upsome beats for him too. I think the album is still gonna be HOTTT!!!! Ima go out and cop it the day it comes out. Gotta show ur support

Ok, call me slow, hadn’t heard of this till now…I think it’s GREAT!!! See, everyone that works with Dre gets punked in the long run…Just ask Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, BG Knockout, Baby Dresta, The D.O.C., RBX…etc. I knew this day was coming…Aftermath vs. G-unit…essentially it will be Eminem/D-12 and Dre vs. 50 Cent and G-Unit and The Game…It’ll be like the Dre vs. Eazy beef…the true folks will side with G-Unit and The Game…and I HATE to type that…because I am in NO WAY a fan of boring ass G-Unit…It’s just that I see G-Unit as being more true to the game than Dre and Em…Dre has always been false…Perhaps the greatest producer of all time, but fake as hell…To quote Eazy, Dre went from "wearing lipstick to smokin’ chronic at picnics?" Em, perhaps the most skilled MC of all time, never has been about real beef and isn’t ready to tangle with G-Unit on a street level…Although, he’d beat the hell outta G-Unit in a rap battle….I would REALLY like to see a reignited Death Row Records…starring 50 Cent and The Game…minus G-Unit and Dre…with an eventual turn to the Row from Eminem…He’d be there like Flav to Public Enemy…for entertainment value….THEN there could be a renewed Death Row verses Dre beef…that might attract that media whore Snoop Dogg to the mix…See, Dre does a good job in defense…Eazy tried to punk Dre…we get the chronic, haters talked too much shit, we get Eminem signed, then Chronic 2000…Hate on Dre and we get good albums out of him…because he has to prove himself…In the long run, I’d like to see some new come-ups from the actual hood, rapping actual hood related shit…I’m sick of the "rim-n-grill" rap, and, to quote The Geto Boys’ Willie D, that fake "mean, mean rappin’" I would like to see another powerful and brutal beef…BUT FIRST, WE NEED A RAP SUPERSTAR AGAIN…It seems like since 50 got quieter, no single rapper has superstar status anymore…

Ikinda see ur point bro and understand, but i think you got it all wrong in my opinion. The game wants nothing to do with g-unit so he left aftermath with all respect to DR. Dre. And what you said about Eminem never having beef so he dont know beef. I think you went a lil too far with that one bro. You dont have to actually be in beef to know what and how bad beef can get. Plus Eminem is 30′ somethig He’s too old for beef anyways. Plus he has a daughter.
Eminem is a well respected rapper, He grew soo fast, most people place him in the #3-5 spot,
#1 Biggie or 2Pac
#2 Biggie or 2Pac
#3 Jay-z
#4 Nas
#5 Eminem. He has soo much skill, Back in the day allz u needed was skill, hip- hop has elevated soomuch since those early DMC days. It has turned into loud Giberish. You dont even have to have skill anymore, as long as you repeat the last sentence you said 32 times, and Scott Storchmade the beat. It ashame how bad this rap shit grew!!!! The day people can rap without steppin on eachother, the day when rappers can show some RESPECT to the founders of hip-hop. Is the day when Hip-Hop/rap can actually mean something
with all due respect to u bro, I in no way am trying to attack you im just inserting my 2 cents once again. So dont come back and attack me.

dedtonyParticipantIkinda see ur point bro and understand, but i think you got it all wrong in my opinion. The game wants nothing to do with g-unit so he left aftermath with all respect to DR. Dre.
Ok, I got your point on that…Like I typed, ain’t a fan of The Game or G-Unit…so I haven’t kept tabs on all this new shit…So Game left Aftermath AND wants nothing to do with G-Unit? Watch him sign with Death Row who hates on Dre AND G-Unit…I’ll bet his album would sale like Petey Pablo’s and go tin-foil…hahaha
And what you said about Eminem never having beef so he dont know beef. I think you went a lil too far with that one bro.
There’s some truth there…I just don’t see Em living up to a lot of the shit he says in his raps…In fact, that’s true for A LOT of rappers…Probably the realest rapper right now…haha…Ain’t none…What I mean there is I just can’t see any of these "rim-n-grill" rappers livin’ up to any of the shit they rap…UNLIKE back in the day when you had rappers like C-Murder, Ol Dirty Bastard and Pac rapping some shit you KNEW was real…not all of it, but enough of it to give them credibility in truth…Ok, on this point, "You dont have to actually be in beef to know what and how bad beef can get"
That is true, but a lot of rappers put themselves lyrically in spots they know nothing about to build a false image…and it’s SO false, most people see right through it all…Em is real and he’s been through some serious shit…I just can’t see him backing many of his tough guy words he raps against people…Plus Eminem is 30′ somethig He’s too old for beef anyways. Plus he has a daughter.
Eminem is a well respected rapper, He grew soo fast, most people place him in the #3-5 spot,True on age…In fact, some of these rappers should retire and return to the hood that gave them their entertainment edge, and start managing some "real" er rappers…I honestly believe that Eminem’s lyrical ability is unmatched…the closest to being as good would be, in my opinion, Jay-Z…another dude I believe used to be able to live up to the hype of his lyrics…In more recent history, not so much…which makes his retirement choice a good one…I’d actually put Em at #1 for lyrical styling and skills, and probably put him at 15-20 for lyrical content…mostly because his content is so largely rooted in comical raps…His more serious shit is almost Pac like though…Too bad the comedy outweighs the reality…
#1 Biggie or 2Pac
#2 Biggie or 2Pac
#3 Jay-z
#4 Nas

TRUE TRUE TRUE…DID I MENTION HOW TRUE THIS SHIT IS?
You dont even have to have skill anymore, as long as you repeat the last sentence you said 32 times, and Scott Storchmade the beat. It ashame how bad this rap s**t grew!!!!
PREACH ON!
The day people can rap without steppin on eachother, the day when rappers can show some RESPECT to the founders of hip-hop. Is the day when Hip-Hop/rap can actually mean something
PREACH! I FULLY agree…too many blingers, not enough conscience, reality, or TRUE skills…and what happened to good ol’ story raps…like Cube’s "Once Upon A Time In The Projects?" that style of rap RULED!
with all due respect to u bro, I in no way am trying to attack you im just inserting my 2 cents once again. So dont come back and attack me.
I just read your response as a response…not as an attack of any sort…No attack necessary…It’s all opinions here…

SeanzaParticipantSo far, what a know iz…
The Game haz left Aftermath to join Geffen, Dr. Dre & Mr. Iovine (of Geffen recordz) are good friendz so the move of The Game to Geffen waz pre-lanned with Dre, Game & Iovine.
Game parted with Aftermath coz he wanted nothing to do woth G Unit at all.
Thatz what a know.
Peace!

BuBaParticipantHey
I must say that this kinda stuff is always arranged in advance. Game living isnt anything new to the music business. That way he got great publicity to start on his own or whatever company (production house). Mainly they helped him (see talent porsion) to get on his feet. You actualy dont know what happened there, what was written in contract.
This technique is often used to promote individuals. Here in Slovenia is often arranged who stays and who leaves, depends on quality of the performer and if it for the market nish.
It could be something different, but I doubt it since in Hollywood everyone nows everyone.
As prequels said they are good friends
You must understand that G-Unit is one group, Dre is other, Geffem another so they basicly switch everthing.
These are marketing tecniques used long before we were born
Im also into marketing so I read a lot about that. But yet again it could be something different

DJ_Patron(A-zona)ParticipantYup, nomatter what the beef and nomatter what label, you must admit The Game has born skillz, that not alot of rappers got. I’d love to see him and Eminem in a freestlye battle, or maybe just even freestyling together like em and Proof used to do, R.I.P. Proof.
Game is ontop of the game.
AdSense 336x280August 11, 2006 at 4:15 pm #595858
