As opposed to Serato, Ableton takes the beatmatching out of the dj’ing equation so that you can concentrate on manipulating music more creatively. If that’s the direction you want to take then Ableton is for you. If you are satisfied with beatmatching and blending tracks together and want to keep it that way then Serato is for you.
