For those that don’t know… all 5 members remixed the same song… that being "Boom Boom Pow" by Black Eyed Peas. I went ahead and uploaded all 5 tracks to the same server, and gave them all similar names… for consistency sake. You will also note that the details of each song are listed below each entry. In the next day or so, this will have a poll attached to it so you can vote on which song you like best. Since I’m not a mod, I won’t be able to add the poll, but I will get a mod on it right away!!

You may also comment on which songs you like/dislike in this thread along with voting… keep it spicy that way. Love to hear peoples opinions on this. Im giving my vote to G-Money.

Reason: Concerning that this is a hard pella to mix, he did outstanding job on making original beat that matches key and that is on point. Im a huge supporter of original work and G-Money delivers also in this perspective.
My vote goes to G-Money!

I also liked the Eyes mix but it seem that on some points that is kinda off beat and off key. Like the beat although that sample is quite known.
I think well deserved second place since rest of mixes are just well ordinary (take some instrumental put pella over it and thats it). No disrespect thought. I think all competitors did a great job on their mixes. As I said above I just happen to like original work since probably all pellas here were already mixed. It is really hard to choose from these mixes. G-Money and Eyes did stand out I must say that.

Overall you all did a great job, but im casting my vote to G-Money!

This is an accidental double post that I don’t know how to delete so I am editing the text here to make up for it.

If I was not in this contest , I’d have to say my favorite entry was from Crazy D.

I like the way he changed the timing of the acapella to go with the R’nB music.

For me mashup/remixing is all about contextual changes and this one stood out for me.

That being said , I still would prefer winning so take that! Haaaah!!!
