dannydubbzParticipantI’m not sure what you based this on but in my opinion a 3year old can hear that its awful! Sorry to be blunt but i feel that honesty is the best policy!

MAKE IT STOP! MAKE IT STOP!
Honestly. It’s like you were trying to do some kind of glitch track but vomited on your keyboard in the process and ended up with some weird, off-tempo, off-beat wondrously BRUTAL song. That, or you were purposely mashing they keyboard to go for something equivalent to "abstract". There is a fine line between abstract art and horrid piles of #2, I believe this to be filed under the latter.
Here’s a play by play of me listening to this track.
0:00-0:10 – Hmmm. A kick loop. Interesting.
0:10-0:13 – WTF? Was that a transition? What just happened? Where am I?
0:26 – Whatthe… is this for real?
0:40 – Hardcore… ??? The… it… "Julie" (my wife) "Come here, listen to this for a moment."
<rewind to start, hit play>
Wife, listens for 40 seconds or so: "Please tell me that isn’t yours."
It continues. There is some effort to have the bassline follow the chord progression of the song but it’s off by a few tones. Some of the Kate Perry vocals come in, there’s a filter to fade from one section to the next, some more hats, still very glitch-like and the bassline makes me want to evacuate my bowels.
Finally, at 3:00, I hit stop. Followed by delete.
I am reminded of another track, which was absolutely meant as a joke, the eminem can-can. You can find it here:

Now both of these tunes just make me giggle like a little school girl.

T LeafParticipantcredit where its due, everything sounds clear.
i’d love to see this guy to do a glitch/IDM track. He may have picked the wrong genre to specialise, he may shock us 😉

dj-icxParticipanthaha is it wrong to say i LIKED it?
very original, I think if i was under the influence of an illegal substance it might sound… mentally obliterating.
dont know what that substance would be though…AdSense 336x280March 13, 2009 at 11:04 am #665398
