With his second album, Buck The World hitting stores this fall, Young Buck is also planning the launch of his own label, Cashville Records.
"50 is so much in support behind what I’m doing as far as establishing my own label Cashville Records," Buck told SOHH.com. "He’s totally behind me with it cause I think what he’s doing is wanting to put me in a lane to get where he got G-Unit Records out so he can fade totally away from this shit. I think 50 fin to just…he wants to build my label up to where G-Unit Records is at and he’s through with rapping, period."
But, will Cashville Records become a subsidiary of G-Unit or Interscope? According to Buck, seeing his label under a different umbrella isn’t too far fetched.
"Cashville is under the right one, who is under the right bill and the right check. At the end of the day the check thing ain’t really the whole key with me and what I’m trying to do with my label, I’m more concerned with having the right foundation and being around the right people. I’m in the middle of negotiating with a lot of different labels with what I got with my label," the Nashville rep explained.
"G-Unit South is the movement. If Interscope comes along and brings everything to the table then that’s where Cashville Records will be. But at the end of the day, if Def Jam got it, Universal or Atlantic, that’s where we gon go. I’m just looking for the best opportunity and the best deal for me and my company as a whole."
Young Buck’s Buck The World is slated to hit stores in November.

yazza187ParticipantBuck’s been rumoured to be leaving G-Unit for awhile if you listen to The Game’s Stop Snitchin mixtape he says "tryed to take buck with me but he stayed" but good on buck if he leaves he is a talented rapper if he stays under a part of Aftermath like The Game is he will do fine.

DJ Sho-TymeParticipantBuck was too good for G-Unit anyway. Id prefer his dirty south style to the style of G Unit.

C-SquaredParticipantYou could plug ANYONE into Aftermath and have hits – Dr. Dre can put anyone on the charts.
Great to see guys branch off and get their own stuff going, it creates more opportunites for rappers to get exposure… I just wish Canibus would latch onto a good label and get some production… now THAT would be news there.

haha he ended up in the military for a while, so he hasn’t put down much in the last year, but check a few tracks from Def Con Zero or Hip Hop for $ale – especially Rhythmatic Jiu Jitsu – it’s a taste of what half-decent production could do for the guy!

He just made a lot of enemies in his career so it’s been a hard fight for him, but I’m getting off topic.
While Young Buck’s "make a new label" point is pretty much what 50 did (license a bunch of acts to your sublabel so you can make money even though your work is under another’s umbrella), I disagree with the arguments that Buck’s style doesn’t belong in G-unit. Recall that for awhile G-unit seemed to be adopting a really expansionsist approach, going beyond the "hard gangsta guys from Queens" to sign Olivia and The Game. In 2004 I postulated that they would try to sign a reggaeton act (so wrong!). The diversity would sell and 50’s model succeeds.
But I’m always up for some turnover in the mainstream. It’ll be interesting to see who Buck would sign. What a story!

Geffen is part of interscope which is owned by aftermath so technicly he is stil part of aftermath[/quote:24hgi1af]Your right that Geffen iz part of Interscope becauze it waz Geffen & A&M Records which were merged together to create Interscope Records.
Interscope waz founded in 1980 by Jimmy Iovine & Ted Field but, Aftermath waznt founded until 1996. Ofcourse we all know Dr. Dre founded Aftermath after he left Death Row Records due to itz rapid collapse.
Interscope iz the distribution label for Aftermath but they are 2 different companiez. The Game iz staying under Interscope with Geffen, not with Aftermath.

acheadKeymasterNot feelin the vibe of Young Buck?
Man where r u livin?
If u arent g unit fan i can understand that but if u like the tracks of em you must like the flow and vibe of young buck cos he is the only one who really can rap in the g unit.
50 just got the talent to fit his voice to every fuckin beat and Banks just groans to big profit.
I like G Unit but Buck is the main reason…he raps like a machine gun!AdSense 336x280October 21, 2006 at 11:24 am #601201

In da club is produced by DRE and 50cent.
He also composed it.
He didnt just write the text.
Dre also isnt producin all on his own.
He got his "team" to produce the tracks.
Like Still DRE was a co-production by Scott Storch…he made the piano hook (which was the main reason for the big money in that track)
Look at the credits of the songs.
In da club was produced by three composers and three text writers.
btw: Who is Michael Elizondo A Jr?You cant say that 50 doesnt have a personality.
When i see him in interviews he seems to be the normal guy from the neighborhood that made it to a rich man.
Nothin makes me think about that he is a snitch or sumthing.
Thats just an opinion for the haters. Its just a bad argument or reason for em to dislike him cos of his profit.
Cant stand why people talk shit cos they r so jealous.
AND i personal concentrate on the music and 50 came up with lots of HITs! He s a real rapper that deserves the profit.Tho i think that everyone who got real talent, works hard(!) and gets produced by DRE will be popular.
