Wu-Tang and the Beatles

It drops Monday the 11th.

There is a lot of talking goin on about it, a lot of hatin’, mostly a lot of gum-flapping. Listen and decide for yourself.

You do have to register for loud.com, but you can get a big phat Wu mixtape off of it.

I’ve heard a couple of tracks, it sounds good to me.

The Beatles track isn’t a ‘sample’ but an ‘interpolation’ meaning the hook is re-recorded new. It may have been dropped off the final album–George Harrison changed his mind or some shit.

And I didn’t think the song was nearly as interesting as what the Beastie Boys did with the Beatles on Sounds of Science or Talib Kweli did w/Eleanor Rigby.

But again, listen and make up ya own mind…

yeh its a Beatles replay not a sample they got George Harrison’s son in to do it for them that is one of the best tracks on the album to over hyped in my opinion i don’t like all the beats sound the same the ODB tracks are good aswell but it doesn’t sound like Wu because Rza isn’t allowed to sample anymore and the beat where the closest he came to sampleling was The Heart Gently Weeps which is the Beatles track other than that ain’t that good.

i’d say the album is about a 6/10 not great
