KaramaParticipantThere is no "best" in my opinion. Personally I’ve used FL for quite awhile now but I don’t see if in it’s current version being anything you could make of use in a live scene. But who cares because live DJ’ing is a joke anyways

Noooo I said that it’s useless to even try using it live cause there’s none right now but the next version has an improved performance mode but again, it blows.

mrdjj7Participantthere is no best software out there. It’s all on what you can do with it and how creative you get with it. I myself started with Serato. I always go through songs I like making cue points here and there and loops. I learned all the keyboard shortcuts to make it easier since I don’t own a ttm57sl and use a pioneer 900nexus. However i’m planing on leaving serato and just using cdj’s with my djm

mickertParticipantI’d like to play with Traktor. It’s a big player in te game, it has a nice layout, and it has many support!
So for me, Traktor is the way to go!AdSense 336x280May 19, 2013 at 11:50 am #698593
DJDynoParticipantNo program, just cds or vinyl and my hands and ears.
People look at waveforms too much at parties … All they do is look at their laptops and never look at the crowd.AdSense 336x280March 1, 2014 at 9:27 am #702118
InjektParticipantI use Traktor and I love it. It’s very flexible, intuitive, and has a LOT of features. But it all boils down to preference in the end. Same goes for DAWs and producing for the most part.

BernieArtParticipantI’m using Traktor as well. I know a lot of people use Serato, and I have to say that I like the interface a lot more than Tractor.

AudioTacticsParticipantMy friends say Traktor but I haven’t made the jump into laptop DJ’ing yet…

OGericParticipantI have a rekordbox controller, the RR. It’s helps because now I go play my friends CDJ’s and it’s easy export my tracks.
