I have sampled some vocals, but there is an annoying slipping going on in the background, its hard to explain, but its a sort of digital “slrppepel” sound like you used to get on badly encoded/decoded mp3 files about five years ago.
I seem to remember a tool to try and remove this noise, but cant seem to find much nowadays. Do any of you know the sound effect im after getting rid of or know how to remove it as much as possible?.
Cheers
Sirius.

I tried allsorts of filters n stuff, yet it makes my track sound lame and you know, just crappy. Its not the same without the vocal part though. The slithering is all wishy washy, just doesnt sit well in the mix you know/ lol
Thanks, Ill try your suggestions.

Really hate when files are like that…
With all the different vocal modifying going on in music these days, I just throw some reverb and echo on the vocals and that’s it.
has any one had any good results on removing the slushy wishy washy sound yet.? if so what do u do.
