jillionskiParticipantGot 2 Technics SL1200s, but I’m looking to get 2 Numark TTX’s or CDX’s as they have more power and functionality. Vestax mixer & Serato and yeah, that’s been working for me.

JuggernautParticipantno….they really arent. but it depends on what you’re using them for.
Vestax, Allen & Heath and Pioneer all whip Numark’s butt when it comes to decent mixers and getting more bang for your buck…
ah, wait you’re just upping your post count…
i’ll shut up now (jokes)Merry Chrimbo

MissblyssParticipantI use
two Tech 12’s a roland 1000 and a DN-3500 CDJAdSense 336x280January 6, 2007 at 8:09 am #609049
acheadKeymasterTechnics are terribly overated! I own 2 Stanton STR8150’s and I’ll never look back. They’ve got heaps of torque and alot more features than the 1200’s.
For CD players, the pioneer 1000’s are the best but are ridiculously over price. For quality and value for money look for the Stanton C.314’s

agree with u, i have stanton str8-60 for about 7 years now and im satisfied, i dont need more functions, maybe because i dj house music, but there’s a big price diffrence and for what? a bit stronger engine? turntables are all about your touch and knowing to work with what u have.as for the cdj i have to disagree, pioneer 800 and 1000 all have to many problems and everyday u have an update that doesnt do any good.
i had 2 pioneer 100’s that i bought second hand 8 years ago and got repaired only once one year ago!! ofcourse thats not true to the new 100’s that are made in tailand (if im not mistakin), since they relocated their factory’s all their equipment are in much lower quality.[/quote:2yakv4ut]Hey stomper you are also here!AdSense 336x280 -
