Hi!

I’m currently putting together a compilation of one liners and general raps that rap artists have supposedly stolen or "bit" from different artists. It lasts about 1 1/2 mins so far but i wana make it last MUCH longer, just to show that all gr8 artists bite lyrix now n agen, sumtimez wivout realising.

I get some hints about who has copied what lines from the magazine XXL (article; "Heard It All Before") and my own knowledge but I’m hopin u guyz can help me out. Jst post two songs where one artist uve heard has bitten from the other or something. I would reli appreciate it. Anyone who buys XXL will no or someone who has just heard an artist bite a rhyme.

Once I’ve added to tha song I’ll post it up and u can see even mine n ur fave artist bites a little bit. It’s all part of rap, as long as u don’t do it all da time. I made this after I heard "Swagger Jacker". Bye, post up any replies coz i usually don’t get any and if u dont I’ll be sad

check out XXL magazine…. they do a feature called "heared it all before" every issue, which basically covers exactly what your after….

jay z is a prolific biter of biggies stuff….. theres a diss on the beef III mixtape by dj vlad, where he chops up all the biten lines by jay z.
worth checking out.

i heard a similar track on a local college station where i’m at. but it had stuff that jay z bit from a lot more people than just biggie. and i’m not sure that it was part of a mix tape. although it could have been. funny shit though. also, alot of mc’s seem to do it more as a tribute. i.e.: del la soul used a chorus on their stakes is high album that was from curtis blow – the breaks. not to say that all mc’s (including jay z) do it in this manner.

Btw the song u heard woz probably "Swagger Jacker" by Cam’Ron which is basically a compilation of Jay-Z’s biting, sort of what I’m doin with all artists
