I think that violin was in some 90’s hip hop track.

I think that’s the hip-hop version that was rocking around the early 90’s

A Fifth Of Beethoven was a 70s disco hit by Walter Murphy and the Big Apple Band.

exactly (but i couldn’t wiki from the computer i was on) but in the early noughties someone took a Fifth of Beethoven and made a hip hop trackout out of it as well…
