junoParticipantyeah, I dont know if you’ll get great sound quality from those wireless hps. Definetly get some cup style h.phones. I always get annoyed by the ones I have right now (Sony MDR-700s). Great sound quality but after a few hours my ears are killing me. I’ve always been able to hear low freq. better in cup style phones. The ones you’re planning on getting look like the best bang for your buck
50mm diameter driver units
3500mW input
Frequency response 5Hz-30kHz– for 60 pounds……….get em!!

where the heck did you see them for that price ?

junoParticipantYou’ll see them about half-way down on this page http://www.123dj.com/a_headphones.html for $109.99 USD. Converted, thats about 60 pounds. (exchange rate right now are around $1=.55 pounds) This site always has the best prices but its based out of Chicago so I dont really know if they will be equivalent to European prices.

acapellaKeymasterShit – ‘I’m probably paying twice as much as that… do they deliver to U.K – how much would the postage be ?

ddoubleParticipantthe technics headfones are nice but the best are still the Sennheiser HD-25
you will not get a better pair of phones for dj’ing/studio work

acapellaKeymasterNo worries, would you consider buying them iand shipping direct to me yourself ?
AdSense 336x280January 8, 2005 at 4:09 pm #568114
junoParticipantYeah, I think I could do that – I’m pretty sure we trust each other, right
I need to go to the bank first though – Xmas took most of my spending $$. I’ll see what I can do this weekend.

acapellaKeymasterBOWNSIR. Superb – thanks for that info I’ll look into it str8 away.
The whole thang with this issue is that The Panasonic cordless my lady LOVINGLY bought me for xmas can only be excahnged for a credit note – and what the hell can you get from a Panasonic shop for £60 (rhetorical by the way – so please don’t answer that anyone) 😉
And uh, well, we’ve already ordered the Technics cans from them… so we both feel a bit obliged now to just say no ?
Awkward to say the least, suggestions ?

fgp303ParticipantIf u dont need cordless one left it the technics or sony in headphones its both shit. The only way is Senheiser HD25-1 or HD25 600oHm depending on ur application. Ohh and never thinking on HD25 SP cos its a lowcost shits… HD25 is teh best headphone for studio/djing/muscic listening + modular and u can change teh defected component in the headphone liek not need drop out
and another fact i kill all heaphone in 2 month long period but my HD25 work and its more than 6 years old now!

acapellaKeymasterJust to keep you all updated.. the sale’s going well and the reserve’s been met – yeharr.
never wanted a shitty credit note from Panasonic – I’d rather just lose out on a fiver.
