pocket bangerParticipanteasiest tutorial to follow i’ve found. Just like following a cake recipe but alot quicker. Thanks for the tips on what to after using the central channel extractor. Makes the result much cleaner than expected.
If you have any more tips for Audition I’m all ears. That one was really useful.

djnjoyParticipantHi Totom,
the point is it doesn’t work everytime, parameters depend a lot of the main frequency of the voice and if it has been merged with the instruments or not…
anyway, good tutorial, but I think there are a lot of tips and tricks to learn to extract a full HD acap’
See ya soon

dan1eh_24ParticipantOk using adobe audition I’ve opened a tune in track 1 which includes vocals.
In track 2 I have opened the exact same tune which also includes the vocals. In track 1 I invert the right channel & in track 2 I invert the left channel.
When I play both tracks back at the same time they cancel each other out but with no vocal.
Where am I going wrong, whats the next step, please help.

avalonandonParticipantoh man!! ive been using audition since it was cool edit 1….or something like that…before 2.0 came out. So i am familiar but didnt know you could do this like that. I remember when i first got the software, somebody telling me you could use it for years and never use all of its features….

djravixParticipantnvrmindme wrote:i tried this and it doesn’t work very well for me…anyone got some different techniques? beside phase invert and knockoutTry this:
make a copy of the track
remove the vocal from it with the center channel extractor
Than invert it and put both original and your new file in a multi track
than the vocal still sounds very good you stil have some background noise
but the worst is goneAdSense 336x280October 22, 2007 at 11:36 pm #635695
titerParticipantHow well does this actually work? Can you still hear the background music?
