Serato runs extremely smooth on a macbook pro! It’s a very powerful & reliable system. However, there’s a cheaper alternative that can do what Serato does & more. Great item to consider if ofcourse you’re looking to economise…

It’s a very simply system which can link to other programs via "ReWire" which makes it extremely flexible for DJs & "On-The-Fly" Remix DJs.
enjoy…

I have read good things, but I don’t know anybody with Torq. A good friend of mine is going to get it and try it. Im a Rane fanatic, so I’ll stick with Serato for now. I do wih Serato would have been the same price though!
I love Torq man. Had it a few weeks now. Gig’d for about 1500 people with it already. Vinyl tracking is similar to that of Serato’s from what I have read and seen. Its great… but when you move really, really slowly or do tiny movements of the vinyl you don’t get read outs, same as you can expect with Serato..? Can’t use it for super technical scratching.. so what else is new.
Love the stuff. I’m analyzing my library right now.
