~ROUND 1: LISA STANSFIELD – THIS IS THE RIGHT TIME~

this is my entry into the comp. This is one of many funky house tracks i am working on. not sure about high notes in basslline but think it goes well. all made using my own two hands (well and a mouse).

This is my track for the comp. I only started it yesterday but im not gonna get much time over the next few weeks to work on so im posting this. Its not the same as the one i posted last night, its an edited version, abit longer with quite a few changes etc… Thanks for the feed back on the one from last night i wasnt expecting such a good response. Enjoy and vote if you like it.

Here is my entry. It is a breakbeat take of the Lisa Stansfield acapella. Any feedback would be great! I am also counting on the the breakbeat heads to vote!

i was thinking i’d have to drop out of this as i didn’t have any time (other than 15 mins here and there) free. but…i got the WHOLE of today off!!!
So…here’s my entry. i did it without listening to what anyone posted on here, and without listening to the original…i could have spent the rest of the evening tweaking but i’d end up hating it and trash it
Oh…has anyone noticed that the pella is a semitone/half tone out?? i made the stupid mistake of tuning my bass to her voice, then when it came to playing stuff in through VSTi’s it was like “wtf?”….*shrugs*

It’s a bit of erm…well i’ll let you decide.

I decided to take a different approach, I wasn’t feeling a house version of this track so I took the trance route!:) I only used small cuts from the acapella. Hope you like!

well i must say i really enjoied this house effort and the result i hope will be appreciated even by u.
i had not so much time to do it and to be active for the forum cauze i’m alwayz in my shop working…
but here it is
the ingredients are
1- lisa pella
2- allen ripley sample
3- alien queen hush
4- theme from twin peaks
5- various house samples to build up the instru
and i built up this like a 12″ wit a lot of free instru at the end eazy to mix up wit something else..
