Don’t forget Ableton Live. Easy to use and latest versions support VSTs.
FL is good indeed. But Logic and Cubase is better. And if it was up to me, I would would probally go with Logic. It’s the must pro software You can get.

I use both FL Studio and Acid for remixing. Makes it very easy for me.
I’ve been using Cool Edit 2000 for a few years now – looking to update my mixing software – any suggestions?

i use Acid Pro 4, the beatmapper makes everything more simple
listen man i remixing and u can use the:
acid 3-4 no metter what version of them
reason 1.5 — Best Sound U Can get
dont use fruity the plugs and everything there is sucks!!! i tell u to go learn with private teacher on -cubase if u want some more contact me man
i use acid 4.0, fl, reason 2.5, cubase sx for all my remixes sound forge is also good for chopping up samples
