The Bass Station is basically a 303 emulator. It is a synth so you can make bass lines that sound like that. you will have to use the midi controlers to obtain certin elements of the bass line like envelope and cutoff and resonance.
If you can’t make same sort of sounds as previewed in the mp3’s there with the Bass-station, you should prob have a deeper look into EQing, alot of the magic “fat” sounds is in there.
thanks guys, i’ll look into that.
awwwwww man! I had made a bassline ALMOST exactly like the first sample i posted, but I accidentally closed FL and los it!!!!!
Anyone know how to save the basslines once I create them?
You should always save backups on whatever track your working on! I guess you learned that lesson now!
that’s actually happened a lot.
Backup….Backup…..Backup..lol

Then make sure you have backups of your backups..
Huge data backups are a big part of my day job.. a sucessful backup is only as good as a successful restore.
Always be sure to take that extra time to VERIFY the data written onto disc aswell, yeah we all know it adds more time on to the whole ordeal but it’s not even a considering factor if THAT mean’s the diference between you loosing a year’s work or not.. think about it..
be safe.

WOW!!!!! that helped instantly, thank you so much!!
